Innovative solutions for agriculture and industry Kentucky Enrichment Inc is a 20 year old agriculture project management company involved in solving problems for growers. Some of what we do is byproduct processing such as composting or anaerobic digestion. We are also involved in clean water projects for rural communities, agriculture and industry. Lately there has been a lot of interest in energy conservation for economic as well as environmental reasons. We have a background in methane production as an environmental as well as energy program. We now are working in other alternatives such as biomass combustion, waste vegetable oil, waste motor oil, and other energy sources. Energy can be used to make power, heat as well as cold. An otherwise useless byproduct can become an economical energy source to heat a facility or to provide cooling through a chiller. We have recently designed an innovative hot water heating and cooling system for greenhouses, as well as other agriculture structures, which offers many options for an energy intensive enterprise. Rural Innovations Inc is a non-profit rural economic development company. We encourage unity and joint action on behalf of farmers and farm groups for mutual support and benefit. We help form cooperatives and other forms of joint action by individuals with symbiotic goals. For example, we are developing a plan on behalf of a state economic development agency to encourage greenhouse and aquaculture production for the benefit of the local small farmers and their customers who require high quality fresh produce and fish. This plan will include a cooperative, partial federal and state funding, and a marketing agreement, essentially a turn key business plan. We can even team up with a local high school or community college making the business project into an educational support or outreach program as well. With experts like Ted Ground in aquaponics, and others of similar abilities in many other fields, we bring a broad background to any project and often find solutions otherwise not apparent to the client. Whether in recirculating aquaculture, hydroponics, mushrooms, vermiculture or even small animal production, we offer options with technical support, marketing and financing brought to you. We operate in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea and South Africa as of now. We have major economic development projects in eight states in the USA as well as numerous small projects in other states. |
